DOMAINE DU MUY, GALERIE MITTERRAND

The Domaine du Muy is a stunning contemporary sculpture park in the south of France (near St Tropez) and a beautiful house entirely restructured and designed by French interior designer India Mahdavi.  Galerie Mitterrand has stood at the forefront of modern and contemporary sculpture since 1988, playing a pivotal role in supporting some of the world’s foremost sculptors.  The Domaine du Muy is a platform for Jean-Gabriel Mitterrand and his son, Edward, to showcase large-scale artworks and explore the relationship between art and nature. Located in an unspoilt valley in the heart of the Var, the Domaine du Muy presents artworks by artists such as Carsten Höller, Sol LeWitt, Claudia Comte and Claude Lalanne.

Available to visit by appointment, the Domaine du Muy is part of a collector’s circuit that has developed in the region over the last five years, alongside private foundations such as the Villa Navarra and Bernar Venet Foundation.
